As with much of Greece, Skiathos has a history of outside rule. It was first colonised by Thracians in prehistoric times, followed by Cretans in the sixteenth century B.C., who importantly introduced the vine and the olive tree to the island, and the Chalkidians eight centuries later.
According to Herodotus, three Greek vessels were stationed on Skiathos to watch for the fleet of Xerxes, the Persian king, in 481 B.C.; a storm forced the fleet to put in at what is now Mandraki beach to make repairs. In 476, Skiathos came under the control of the Athenian alliance, paying 1000 drachmas a year for the privilege. It was governed on the lines of Athenian democracy, but was later conquered and ravaged by Philip the Second of Macedon.
Roman rule came in the second century B.C., during which time Christianity was introduced. Skiathos fell under Byzantine control from 330 A.D. until 1453, following the split of the Roman empire; the last two hundred years of this period were fraught with pirate attacks, forcing the inhabitants to relocate to Kastro, a fort at the island's northernmost point.
Following a Venetian protectorate, the island was captured by Barossa, a Greek Muslim, and remained under Turkish rule until 1829

, when it became a part of the newly independent Greece; following this, the population moved back to Skiathos Town as it was gradually rebuilt.
1.One of the major matters , upon their arrival, is to find the yacht of their choice, ready, and not a different one, cleaned, in excellent condition and fully operated.

3. The clients will have detailed information about the base of embarkationand disembarkation. Upon his arrival at the bases before his embarkation will offer drinks, and having a friendly discussion in order to make them feel that this is the moment they start their vacation and distressed them.
4. A detailed briefing will take part and our base managers can answer in
any question will arise concerning itineraries, weather report place to
visit, and most important where to go shopping to the nearest less expensive market.
5. We give to any member of crew a small gift as well as to the captain free of charge -only for his trip - a mobile telephone, with a Greek number
to call us in case of any problem. Further more upon request we may
provide clients with laptop.
6. Always our base staff will carry client's luggage to the yacht in order to avoid discomfort the client due to his trip.
7. Upon embarkation they will always find a basket of , ouzo, wine, Fruits,cool water.
8. After sail away,(after sail services) we keep backing up client for what they need. Our base managers mob and mine is open 24 hours per day 30 days per month. We are able to help them any time they need and in any place they will be. For average problems the time of our reaction and repairs will not be more than 4 hours (unless there will be a big problem and spare parts need to be transferred).
9. Upon their arrival back to the base we inform them the place of mooring, and we help them for what they need.
10. Finally it essential for clients to know that are in a friendly country and in addition a company who cares about them.
